ABout THE Pastor
Pastor, B.R. Forbes was born and raised in Port Maria, Jamaica. He attended college at Oral Roberts University where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. He accepted his call into the ministry in 1999 and served under the mentorship of Pastor Henry T. Busby for 17 years as the Youth Pastor. He served as a Sunday School Teacher for Young Adults and the Men's Instructor for B.T.U. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Sapulpa. In 2017, Rev. Forbes became the proud pastor of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church- South Haven. Pastor Forbes has been actively involved in the Canaan District and currently serves as the President of the Minister's Division. He is married to his college sweetheart, First Lady, Dr. Jenifer Forbes. He is a devoted husband, provider, and proud father of two children, Chloe and Catelyn. He is a dedicated, saved and Holy-Spirit filled messenger of God deeply devoted to rightly diving the Word of God.
